Painting in Big Bend National Park

I love to travel and I love to paint. To get to do both is a dream of mine. Here is a little bit of Cottonwood Campground in Big Bend National Park. When we drove into this camp with our Van I was surprised because it is totally different than all the other surroundings. Cottonwood trees everywhere just starting to get their new leaves. I decided to do a little study of a tree from our camp spot. I made myself a plein air kit that I could attach to my easel and it makes it perfect for me to walk anywhere for different views of what I want to paint.
