Painting on the Road is Hard

We have been on the road 3 1/2 months now. Between hiking, biking, siteseeing, driving, and reading, I have discovered how hard it is to take the time to paint. Another thing is that being a studio painter, it has been challenging to paint outside and to make myself take the time to do so. It is not from lack of inspiration, because it is all around me. I am vowing to myself to actively make the time to at least do small sketches. As I am writing this I am sitting outside in Yellowstone in perfect weather with an Osprey flying above me. I am a lucky girl and feel such gratitude.
