This beautiful watercolor painting captures the beauty and nostalgia of old-fashioned carriage roads. The painting features a winding road lined with lush green chestnut trees, leading to a serene lake. The vibrant colors of the trees contrast with the bright blue of the lake, creating a beautiful and tranquil scene. This painting is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of nostalgia to their home.I was inspired by the great artist Alfred Sisley's oil painting of 1878 while he was living in Paris. Studying the masters is a great way to increase my skill level as an artist.Painting Size: 11x14

Based upon the painting from the Artist Alfred Sisley's "Allee of Chestnut Trees". He painted this in oil in 1878 while living outside of Paris and it is now hanging in the Metropolita Museum. I got the idea from a calendar my mother had and love the painting.
